This report is the first of 12 volumes of reports for National Flood Forecasting and Warning Systems (NAFFWS) zone 1 porject. it is a summary of development work carried out over eighteen months from 24th March 2020 to 26th September 2021. The project covers Zone 1 of the Northern region comprising eleven river basin and utilizes hydrologic, hydrodynamic, and live modelling to attain the objectives of a timely, accurate, reliable, and adaptable flood forecasting system. The sequence of this report follows the layout of the states, whereby Perlis in the north will be first, while Perak in the south will be last.
