BACKGROUND

DID Library begin with a small reference unit which located at the first floor in HQ Building back in 1980s. Its about 288 square feet (26,755 square meters) which was operated by the Technician (J17). DID Library has moved to the ground floor in 1987 due to increasing reading materials. The new space covers 1,739.56 square feet (161,605 square meters) and run by Library Assistant (S17). In line with the development of facilities and services along with the increase in reading collections, it was then managed by Librarian (S41) starting from April 2006. The library has once again moved to a new space on 22 October 2007. The new area which is more spacious and comfortable, covers 325 square meters at Block B of DID.
